Bullock says sequels she starred in were 'horrible'

But which films was she on about?

Sandra Bullock has said the she won't appear in a sequel to her hit comedy 'The Heat' from this summer, but not because she didn't click with co-star Melissa McCarthy.

Nor because she doesn't think there's mileage in the pair getting together again for another buddy-cop movie.

Instead, it's because the two sequels she made were, to quote the 'Gravity' star, 'horrible'.

“I’m not doing a sequel to ‘The Heat',” she told The Wrap.

“I’ve done two sequels. They were horrible. What Melissa and I had was beautiful. We might do another film together. I think we should do a silent film together.”

Rather than having to trawl through her filmography in order to try and work out which films she might mean, it emerges that Bullock has only appeared in two sequels in total.

The offending movies are – wait for it – 'Speed 2: Cruise Control' and 'Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous'.

The former was, perhaps, more horrible than the latter.

Director Jan de Bont's 'Speed 2' was hammered by the critics – it scores a desperate 3% 'fresh' rating on reviews aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, and was nominated for a slew of Razzies, winning Worst Re-make or Sequel.

Box office-wise, it hardly over-performed either, making $164 million on its $110 million budget.

'Miss Congeniality 2' fared marginally better. Though also panned by critics (not quite as badly, however, with a 15% 'fresh' rating) it made slightly more money, bringing in just over $100 million on a $60 million budget.

She perhaps can't complain too much, however – she did serve as a producer on the latter film.

Do you agree with Bullock? Were her sequels so 'horrible'?

Bullock's latest project, 'Gravity', seems a bit more promising that 'Miss Congeniality 2'. Check out a clip below.

U say? But she collect the money na
